Talent Development

Today in talent development I started my new lino print. It is a picture of an owl as you can see. For my first colour I'm doing is blue. Today I have done four practice prints and four good prints. My test prints weren't as good as my new prints because the printer was loose but then Darryn fixed it. 

Gifted Person

For my gifted person I am doing Buck Shelford. I am doing Buck Shelford because he is a former All Black captain and he has made significant contributions for New Zealand.

Talent Development 

Today in Talent Development I carried on with my triple layer of my print. Just to remind you the three colours that I am using are green, orange and blue. My background is green, the middle of my boot was blue and the outside of the boot is orange.

Technology Challenge 

Today in my group there was Travis, Matt, Charlie and I. What we had to do was make a shelter that three people could fit in. It had two have no holes in it.  Luckily ours stayed up. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you who won. It was us.

Today in talent development  I started doing my over layers. My two colours were orange and blue. Blue was the background and orange was the inside of the boot. There is a wee bit of blue in the centre of the boot. I am still going to make the green in the background instead of the blue.

Mind Mapping
Today for the rotation I did mind mapping with Darryn. First he showed us all sorts of types of plans that we could do. Then he told us how it looks and what you need to do. After that he drew a mind map on a fish. He asked us what first came to your mind when I said fish. I thought of a fishing line. After we completed the fish mind map we had to do our own on are gifted person. I drew Peter Jackson and did three branches. They said Lord of the Rings, Hong Kong and movie director.

Multiple Intelligence Survey

Today first off we did the MIS test and it had 56 questions. The teacher that was helping us was Jenni and I think it was a little boring. You could either choose a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. One is that you don't like it at all or that is not like you. Two meant that it was you a little bit or you liked it a little a little bit. Three means that it is you sometimes or you like it depending on what is about. Four means that it is you most of the time or you like it most of he time. Five means that it is totally you and you love it all the time.

Talent Development.

Today in talent development I had to carve out all the lino that I was gong to use as orange and it was a bit of a struggle because I kept on missing some little bits so I had to go back and forth heaps of times.

Chess 

Today first thing we did was played chess.  I sadly lost against Rhylee but it had to go down to points. I am now third on the leader board. The remaining top three are Matt L, Rhylee and me.

Talent Development 

Today Amanda taught us in art. We just got some more printing done. I did six practice copies and one good copy. I kind of failed because only one worked and all the other ones were smudged or faded.  

Mapping

Today I also did mapping with Amanda and I think it was very interesting because I have never learnt about maps. If you found green on a map it would mean some sort of vegetion. Blue means water e.g. ocean, river, streams. White meant clear big areas. Black meant  man made things. Brown meant contour lines.

That was part of my day at Enrich. 

My Long Day

Today I have had a awesome day and I'm about to tell you why.

I played a awesome game of chess against Matt. I bet him the first time but then he bet me in the next and the one after that. I am now second on the leader board.

After chess I went to Katie's  patterns of behaviour workshop part 2.  We learnt about how we can make normal things during the day be fun. One of the examples were putting on your seatbelt. There was a T.V screen and it went on when you put your seatbelt on.  This was a way to change behaviour.

Then I had morning tea.

After that we had talent development  and we carried on with our lino prints. I used purple, orange, white and yellow. I printed abut six of them today.

After we had lunch I had debating with Katie. We talked about  what were the positives and the negatives about how would adults behave in 100 years. Also which country did we think that was the most strict. I said Afghanistan because the president demands war.

My Monstrous Morning

GOOD DAY

ART

Today the art group went to the art gallery. We had a look at some awesome paintings and drawings. Some of them look realistic.

When we got back Darryn  decided that we should do Lino prints. I am doing a rugby boot.

CHESS

In chess today I sadly lost to Luca. I am now second. I rematched Luca any way but I sadly lost again.

DRAMA

This morning we did spatial drama and psychological drama.  The Spatial drama activity we did today was when four or three people get ten seconds to make something (for example) a breakfast.  I was in Travis, Matt, and Matts group.

Then we did psychological drama. The activity was called Only One Liar. First we got into a circle. Then Nicolala said to close our eyes. She came around the circle and said that she would tap some one on the shoulder. (SPOILER ALERT) But she ended up not tapping anyone. Then she told us to open our eyes  and point at the person who got tapped on. No one pointed at Nicolala. Who was the dirty liar?
