I beat Charlie!

Today we had an awesome day! We had chess and now I'm on the top because I beat Charlie, I beat Charlie, I beat Charlie! Then I played a wee game against Travis but we did not finish it. 


We also did ART. We had to draw  two onions, two zucchinis and a capsicum. Darryn helped me with the shadow and the shading a wee bit, and he taught me that the darkest thing that you are looking at needs to be shaded the darkest.

This Morning

Today so far its been great! We did something a little different today. Its called The Pit. You can fall into the pit if you let something get out of control. Then you feel sad about it if you don't tell your parents or a teacher. But then you get out of the pit by standing tall and telling your parent or teacher. You need to have strategies to help you out of the pit.

We also did Passion time and talent development. I sketched four drawings. One of them  was a non-nature object and three of them were nature objects. I learnt that the light and the shapes and the positions of the objects that we were drawing are very important to keep in view while you are sketching.

The Monstrous Morning

Finally Wednesday! Today so far we have had an awesome day. After  we chatted about things and the roll, we started chess. At the start I was third but at the end of the session I was first even though I bet Reid. I check mated Reid but it took me awhile.

After chess we talked a little bit about Gagne's model of giftedness and also Ranzule,s model of giftedness. The three things that Ranzule thinks an adult should have is Task Commitment, Above Average Ability and also creativity.

Then we had morning  tea...

Then we did art! Yeah, I love art. First we sketched a funny looking clown kind of thing. Then we finished painting our apple on a plate. 

THAT WAS MY MORNING AT ENRICH!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Today we played  chess. Sadly I lost to Charlie and Matt. That meant I went down to third place. Charlie is now first and Matt is now second.

 

Today we also had a little talk about Gagne,s model of giftednes. The three things that Gagne,s think you should at least have one of is creativity task commitment and above average ability.

That was some of my day at Enrich.

LAST DAY OF THE TERM!!!

 Today it  was AWESOME!!! We got to sketch an apple on a plate and then paint it. I'm not finished yet so I will have to finish it after the holidays. 

Just a quick refreshment. First we did blending with the primary coulors and then we made a colour sheet light to dark with the primary coulors.

The other thing I am going to talk about is our field trip in Queens Park. We had to edit all our photos and then make a keynote about it. I have not finished it yet either

Talent Development

WOO HOO!! Its Enrich today!

Finally after 7 days we are at Enrich again.

Today we did Talent Development. Once again I am in art. Today Jenni taught us because Darryn wasn't  here. Today we blended the primary colours, light to dark.  I did blue and red. Here is  a picture of it.  The hardest part about blending colours is when you have to put the right amount of paint on the painting.

My favourite is blue. 

Talent Development

This year I am with Darryn in art. Today we learnt the primary colours are red blue and yellow. Then we started blending them with cb' cy and cr. That means cool blue together with warm blue etc. We are doing painting at the moment.I am hoping to achieve a full painting.
